Information for parents of year 6 students

School Transport – Within catchment

The Local Authority provides transport to and from Church Stretton School for children who reside within the defined ‘catchment’ area.  For details, please contact Shropshire LA Admissions Team.

Bayston Hill / Crosshouses – Out of catchment school transport 

There are limited places on the private school bus bringing children to school who reside in the Bayston Hill / Crosshouses and surrounding area.  For details of this, including the cost and collection / drop off location, please contact School Reception.

Should the bus be oversubscribed, a letter will be sent to all parents informing them of the following principles: 

• Siblings of current students will be allocated a seat first.
• All other parents of prospective students, will be informed by letter of the situation and asked to submit a request for transport to the school. The seats will then be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis.

Applications for places on buses will not be accepted prior to allocation of places by LA and school contacting parents of the situation.
